Our goal for the Betty Allen Ovarian Cancer Foundation is to provide education and awareness within the community in hopes of educating women and girls about gynecologic cancers. Many women are not familiar with the symptoms of gynecologic cancers and are not aware that a PAP test only detects cervical cancer. In 2015, it was estimated that 98,280 women would be diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer and some 30,440 will die from the disease. Knowledge is power. It can save your life.
